You've heard it before, and we know it to be true: the newborn phase is the most fleeting of all.
Photographing teenie tiny ones and tiny ones is always a sweet adventure. Capturing a baby within the first few days, weeks or months of life is a privilege, and the resulting photographs become treasured works of art to look back on as life flies by. I've been lucky to follow some little lives from behind the lens, from bump through first steps and beyond.
As with all of my photoshoot experiences, newborn and baby shoots are relaxed, down to earth, and tailored to your (and baby's) needs. Sessions most often take place at your home for less stress and more cozy.

When should I book?
↳For newborn shoots, as soon as you know your due date! We'll pencil in a date for a week after you're due, and I'll keep availability open around that date so you are guaranteed a shoot.
When is the best time to do a newborn shoot?
↳It's always a good time to photograph your new baby! For those sleepy, womb-like poses, we should shoot within two weeks of birth - 5-12 days after birth is ideal. Once the baby is older than two weeks we can absolutely still do a newborn shoot, the photographs will just be a bit different. Baby will likely be awake with outstretched limbs and likely won't let us do much posing. I've shot newborns anywhere from a week old to several months old with beautiful results.
Are you going to pose my baby?
↳A little bit, but not much. We'll work together to keep baby comfortable AND camera ready.
Are you going to bring props?
↳I’m all about photos of babies dressed up as pumpkins placed in a basket, but that’s just not me. I find babies to be fascinating little works of art all on their own that don't need much extra help to create beautiful photographs. We'll use any props you have at home - baby blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, sweet headbands, etc - to accessorize baby and make her/him comfortable while we photograph.
What is your turn around time?
↳The in-person viewing session usually takes place 2 weeks after our session. Products take 6-8 weeks for delivery.

My newborn session pricing is simple. The session fee includes an approximately 60-minute photo session and in-person viewing and ordering session 1-2 weeks after our session. There is no time pressure for newborn sessions - we will break for baby as often as necessary.
At our in-person viewing and ordering session you'll view your curated gallery of 35+ artistically edited images and place your order for any photographic materials. Collections range from $780-$1,700+.
Collections are comprised of digital files and physical art products including mounted prints, framed prints, canvases and albums. I source from the best labs in the country to bring LV clients the highest quality products available that you will treasure as heirlooms for generations for come.
