This is where Laura Volpacchio Photography was born (very pre "Laura Simon" days!) From professional dancer to professional photographer, headshots were the natural bridge.
Offering headshots for actors, dancers, professionals, teachers, coaches, healers, therapists, yogis, authors, entrepreneurs, online daters, adorable kids - ok, headshots for everyone. We could all use an authentic, approachable, attractive shot of our face these days.
Photography headshots in Westchester, NYC, The Hudson Valley & The Hamptons. Natural light only because authenticity is my jam, and the earth will always have prettier light than the studio (speaking as someone who shot in studio for years - over it!!)

What about hair and makeup?
↳I highly recommend pro hair and makeup for your headshots. I'm happy to send you some referrals and even arrange on your behalf.
What do I wear?
↳Don't worry, when you book I'll send you an email with all kinds of directions and guidance, and I'll be your personal stylist when you arrive with 1/2 (or all) of your closet.
Are you going to make me do weird poses?
↳Probably not, but maybe just for fun. I'll give you gentle guidance, but my primary goal is to let you be yourself in front of the lens, so that we get images that look like you. I've spent a lot of time on both sides of the lens, so I know what works in the camera and will be happy to direct you when needed.
I didn't have time to get a haircut, can you just photoshop that? And how about color?
↳I wish I could say this was a crazy question that has never been asked - alas. No, the answer is no. You should look as close to how you want to look in your final photographs before we take the actual photographs.
What's your turn around time?
↳As fast as possible when creating the highest quality work. You'll have access to your proofs within two weeks, and your final edits will be to you within two weeks of selection. If you have a specific timeline I will accommodate whenever possible!
